Who is Paul Chevallier?

My grandmother Marguerite Chevallier had a sister Paula, but no brothers. My grandmother grew up in the French village of Graffigny-Chemin near Chaumont and Bourmont. She possessed this photograph of a French soldier, but left no information that I know of.
